What: Workshop that explores the origins of self-defeating behaviors.
Who: Anyone who is feeling “stuck” or needs help understanding and letting go of past trauma or hurtful experiences to experience freedom
Workshop Goals: This workshop addresses the needs of those who have just begun a recovery process, as well as those who have hit a plateau in their recovery, a source of renewal for anyone who has undergone treatment or who just want to deepen their experience. It is an opportunity to take a deeper dive into your healing.
Cost: $1250 (includes lodging, breakfast and lunch, and Brain Spa)
Trauma Bond
A trauma bond is a type of negative bond that occurs when someone develops a strong and intense attachment to a person or an addictive process that is destructive to them.

What: A workshop focused on identifying negative bonds and destructive attachments, recognizing denial, grieving losses, and beginning the healing process.
Who: Anyone interested in freeing themselves from or recovering from exploitative relationships, processes, and situations.
Workshop Goals: Recognize, acknowledge, and develop insights about situations, people, and processes that are exploitive in nature.
- Break through denial, identify signs that a betrayal bond exists, and grieve losses.
- Explore the root causes of one’s involvement in relationships, situations, and processes that are destructive to them.
- Identify key elements that drive the cycle of abuse, betrayal of trust, and power.
- Learn about the psychodynamic and neurobiological concepts behind exploitive situations and relationships.

Fine Print
Workshops are designed to help you understand your own needs, desires, emotions, habits — everything that makes you who you are. The more you know about yourself, the better equipped you are to engage in healthy relationships and move through life with a positive, healthy sense of self. The group process is a springboard for growth by way of learning through others process.
Due to the intensive nature of the work, the workshop is limited to 4-5 participants. Early registration is encouraged. Workshop groups run Friday through Sunday from approximately 8:30 am to 4 pm. The schedule is somewhat flexible to accommodate the size of the group and the group process. This is strictly alcohol-and drug-free, cell phone, and smoking policy.
